A Zen Garden at Ocean Ridge

zen garden at Ocean Ridge residenceTexture, color and spatial definition give this intercoastal private garden a unique feel. We chose salt tolerant plant species that thrive in Palm Beach to ensure that this property will always look lush even through the harshest of winter storms. Our landscape architects developed the summer kitchen, created a zen like dining room garden and established filtered views of the intercoastal waterway while retaining privacy for the owner.

Connie was recommended to me by a friend and neighbor who went through the Master Gardeners Course at Mounts Botanical Gardens in West Palm Beach, Fl. I believe Connie was the Board of Mounts at the time. I was in need of consultation for a bbq area in the rear of my home plus a small patio type area off my dining room.

Connie was very thoughtful about plant material paying attention to limited need for care and keeping costs at minimum. She showed me numerous types of plants, did her research as to where plants could be seen and went herself to view the plants.

The end result was the marriage of our ideas. In the plan was a fountain which can be turned on as I desire plus a rock base giving the effect of a pleasing, Japanese type effect off my dining area which, with the doors open, gives a relaxing and calming feeling while enjoying a meal.

Connie is very charming, calm individual who takes her client’s needs to heart. Her goal is to work to solve an issue and never makes the client feel that their issue is too minuscule to be dealt with.

I highly recommend Connie. You will not be sorry with her recommendations.
