Sprout’s History

Studio Sprout is committed to creating healthy environments that contribute to well being. Connie Roy-Fisher founded the firm in 1983, originally as Roy-Fisher Associates. The change to Studio Sprout, Inc. represents a  focused, collaborative commitment to health and sustainability in landscapes for living, playing, learning and healing.

Continuing education strengthens that commitment and results in award winning projects recognized by the American Society of Landscape Architects, American Landscape Contractors Association, Healthcare Design, the Florida Native Plant Society, The Florida Redevelopment Association and Florida Nurserymen and Growers Association.

The Principal, Connie Roy-Fisher is an accredited LEED Professional, Master Gardener and contributor to the base knowledge document for the Center for Healthcare Design’s EDAC, Evidence Based Design Assessment and Certification as well as a founding board member for the Palm Beach / Treasure Coast Chapter of USGBC and a board member for the Mounts Botanical Garden.

The firm’s expertise is in creative solutions for constructed projects that benefit human and environmental health, including site and master planning, environmental consulting and permitting as well as landscape, irrigation and hardscape design. Close to thirty years experience is evident in workable yet innovative designs that meet budget expectations, are successful when installed and consider maintenance for lasting value.

Studio Sprout, Inc. assists clients in realizing difficult and complex projects through a multi-disciplinary approach to planning. The firm works with healthcare professionals, jurisdictional agencies, design professionals, financial experts, legal specialists and others to supplement in house capabilities. Such an approach ensures the achievement of optimum environmental quality within a realistic framework of financial and community considerations.

Because of our extensive experience, our approach recognizes that each assignment involves unique challenges and opportunities demanding an open minded creative and professionally disciplined response. This approach is of particular importance in a project where environmental, physical and political issues all have to be juggled into place.

Our involvement with  Planning & Zoning Commissions, jurisdictional, municipal and county projects brings us into contact with a variety of community and state leaders. Our location, within minutes of I-95, makes numerous construction locations easy to service.
