Studio Sprout has been honored with an award of excellence by the Florida Nurserymen and Growers Association for the design of the Jacqueline Fiske Garden of Hope at the Jupiter Medical Center. The garden was the site of a pilot study done by co-investigators Dr. Ruth McCaffrey of Florida Atlantic University, School of Nursing, Lorraine Brokaw of Jupiter Medical Center and Dr. Amy Wagenfeld and Connie Roy-Fisher of Studio Sprout. The study looked at how gardens and gardening activities can improve outcomes and quality of life for cancer survivors.
Studio Sprout, Inc. based in Jupiter, specializes in evidenced based design for healthcare facilities and has also been recognized for public and private gardens. Ms Roy-Fisher was honored with an additional recognition for the best showcase of Florida-Friendly Landscape Principles.
