Florida Atlantic University teamed with the Institute in this Marine Science Building that is used for classes and research. SPROUT Roy-Fisher Associates restored the landscape using plantings that were present before the land was cleared many years ago. The landscape plan used entirely native plant material; disturbed areas were restored with native grassland habitat. The irrigation system was designed to wean the grassland area off of additional water usage once established.
